All content on this Site — including text, images, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of the Campaign unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content for commercial purposes or to misrepresent the Campaign or its positions without prior written permission.

Permitted Use

You are welcome to view, share, and link to content on this Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Sharing campaign materials on social media or in community settings is encouraged, provided the content is not altered or taken out of context.

Prohibited Conduct

• Scraping, crawling, or automated data collection from this Site
• Impersonating the Campaign, its candidate, or its staff
• Using Site content to create misleading or fraudulent materials
• Attempting to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
• Submitting false information through any form on this Site

Donations

Donations made through this Site are processed by third-party payment processors (Stripe, or WinRed when configured) and are subject to the processor’s own terms and conditions. All contributions must comply with applicable federal and state campaign-finance laws. Contributions from foreign nationals, federal government contractors, and corporations are prohibited. Contributions are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes. Donor information including name, address, occupation, and employer may be publicly disclosed as required by law.

SMS Terms of Service

By opting in to receive text messages from the Campaign:

• You consent to receive recurring automated text messages at the phone number you provide
• Message frequency varies
• Message and data rates may apply
• Text STOP to opt out at any time
• Text HELP for help
• Your consent is not a condition of any purchase or donation
• Neither the Campaign nor mobile carriers are liable for delayed or undelivered messages

Mobile Messaging Program Consent

By signing up for our Mobile Messaging Program, you consent to receive the following types of text messages from Grenis, Lisa 4 BOE and Friends of Jana Smith Post:

• Polling / voting text messages — such as election reminders and opinion polls
• Public service announcement text messages — including legislative updates, member updates, and voter education

Opt-in methods. Completing a sign-up form on our website and checking the text message consent box, or providing explicit consent in any other manner indicated by Grenis, Lisa 4 BOE and Friends of Jana Smith Post.

Message terms. Messages may be sent using an autodialer or similar technology. Message frequency may vary depending on your interaction with the Program. Standard message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

STOP. To stop receiving messages, text STOP at any time. You will receive a confirmation text confirming you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive messages from the Program unless you opt back in.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Campaign and its officers, staff, volunteers, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use this Site.

This Site may contain links to third-party websites, including WinRed, news outlets, and social media platforms. The Campaign is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those external sites.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where the Campaign is registered. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of this Site shall be resolved in the courts of Calvert County, Maryland.

Changes to These Terms

The Campaign reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
